11/26/1997 - 4/14/2009

Dixie came to live with us September 18, 2006.  It was love a first sight.  She was shy and timid at first but soon bonded with us and stayed right by our side for almost two years and seven months.  Dixie's favorite pastime was napping in the car.  It did not matter that the car was parked in the garage.  She loved our nightly routine of brushing her teeth and sitting together on her bed before bedtime.  Losing Dixie has left a huge void in our hearts and home.  Our time together was too short, but we loved her so much and will forever treasure her love for us.
