Jenny Patience

Victoria, Australia

I was first put under a magical spell when we were lucky to have Fergus an 8 year old Airedale Terrier Rescue take over our family and home.  Sadly, we only had the joy for 2 ˝ years but they were the best years of fun and laughter I can remember.  We have since been blessed with Duke (2 years) and Zena (3 years) through Sue Forrester who runs our Victorian ADT Rescue.   We also have Daisy, a 10 year old terrier/poodle cross, who we rescued from a Dog shelter 9 years ago

My name is Jenny Patience and I am kept very busy living in Lilydale, Victoria Australia with my partner Gary and two teenage boys, Trent and Adam.  I work as an Export Administrator for a very large Sporting Company in Melbourne and enjoy my job very much.

After doing a Christmas fundraising event for the Victorian Rescue, with a couple of lovely ladies from the ADT Club Victoria, Sue Forrester suggested we try our hand at doing a wall hanging for the Bonus quilt, to show what Aussie ADT’s love about Australia.  We hope we have captured their fun loving spirit within our work.  Along with Sue Forrester, Anne Marie Serrano from Kansas USA, we have had a lot of fun communicating and coordinating this project from 2 separate Countries.

My favourite hobby is creating reborn dolls when I took my first lesson 18 months ago and fell in love with them, along with other craft work, such as card making and cooking.

I feel privileged to be associated with the Rescue and wonderful people involved and only wish that I could have more Airedales running around my home.

Thank you for inviting us to be a part of your world.
