Letter to Veterinarian
Airedale Rescue and Adoption
Dear Dr.
I am actively involved in the rescue and placement of Airedale Terriers which, for whatever reason, find themselves in need of a new home. The dogs come from shelters, owners who are unable or unwilling to care for the dogs, and just about any other kind of situation you can imagine.
I have very strict requirements for placement - but before even considering a new home for a dog, I make sure that each dog is current on all inoculations, has been spayed or neutered, has been evaluated by a veterinarian, and is a healthy companion.
While there is a modest adoption fee, overall this amount is far from sufficient to cover the normal cost of veterinary care for the dogs I place. In order to maintain the level of veterinary care I feel is essential before releasing the dogs to their new homes, it is necessary to ask for the cooperation of veterinarians in extending rate reductions for the following kinds of services:
rabies inoculation heartworm testing/fecal exam
DHLP-P inoculation spaying
kennel cough inoculation neutering
Your consideration in this matter, for the sake of the many rescue dogs involved, would be greatly appreciated. A stamped, self-addressed envelope is enclosed for your convenience, if you would be so kind as to take the time to fill in the form below.
Sincerely,
