Henry, Augie and Amy.

 I live in Buffalo, N.Y. with my husband Vinny, my 17 year old son, Ryan, our 2 Airedales, Henry & Augie and a plethora of cats. Henry is 2 years old and we have had him since he was a puppy. Augie is 5 and he joined our family in April, 2006 from Airedale Rescue of Western NY. It has been a long journey for Augie and he has settled into our family wonderfully. Henry & Augie are great pals and love to play and cuddle.

 I spend my free time painting pottery (Airedale themed of course!), scrap booking, watching my son play hockey and spending time with Henry & Augie. I also volunteer for Airedale Rescue of WNY doing home visits, transports and manning information tables at events. I just made a career change and began working as a Cosmetology Educator for The Salon Professional Academy. This is a big change for me and I’m looking forward to a new phase in my life. 

 This will be the fourth quilt that I have worked on with the Bee. This year I volunteered to do the Memory Book in addition to a square. When we originally came up with the circus idea someone mentioned an old time circus theme with a vintage feel. That was my inspiration for the cover. I tried to make it look like an old circus program with aged edges and all.
