I have been into Airedales for about seventeen years since I got my first Airedale Roxie. I joined the Airedale Terrier Club of Metropolitian Washington DC, when she was banned from the grooming salon for "bad" behavior!. First she jumped off the table and hung herself. Then she laid down on the table, and hung herself, so they added a second loop. Her third and final trick was to lean into the groomer w/all her weight and upset the groomer , the table etc. Finally, two more people were brought in to h old her so she could be groomed. When I went to pick her up, I was told not to EVER bring her back!

I saw that ATCMW was having a grooming workshop, called and was invited to join. It was wonderful to find a whole group of people w/clever dogs like Roxie and owners who laughed at my girls antics and shared there own Airedale stories.

I am currently a two Airedale home. I have Sandy who came into my life 3 years ago after I lost my sweet Roxie to cancer and Katie who came to live w/me January, 2007 when her owner, Lou Swafford fell and broke his hip. Katie was to stay w/us until Lou recovered from his injury, but as you know he contracted cancer and left us this past February. I wasn't sure that they would get along, but after a few nips and growls they have settled in and become fast friends.

I saw the Quilt "Annette's House" and wanted to be involved in the next quilt. I am proud to have contributed to 4 quilts so far. I contributing to these wonderful projects.
