In loving memory of  Bill Fineran January 19, 1945 - April 6, 2005

Bill was introduced to Airedales in 1965 when he met Joey. They were married 13 days later and were each other's best friend for more than 39 years.

Through the years they bred some litters under the kennel name SCHAIRE and had a few champions who were also beloved house pets.

In the mid 70s, when they became involved in Rescue, Bill was tolerant and supportive. Although he was known to fuss about having another rescue dog in the house every time a new one arrived, within a few days he would always come around and do what he could to make them feel welcome in their temporary home.

Bill owned and operated Bridgeton Drywall, Inc. for many years, and along the way won the respect of many builders and fellow construction specialists.

He was idolized by their son, Shane. In turn, Shane and his lovely wife, Eleanor, were a great source of pride -- and their beautiful daughter, Dominique, was the apple of his eye.

He lived the way he wanted to - always honest and always fair minded. He loved his family and his dogs and cats and geese -- and his Miller and his Camels.

He died as he was getting a piece of his favorite cheese out of the refrigerator -- suddenly and without any pain, just like he wanted to.

Bill was loved and will be missed by many.
